Trenches 08:57
Fall away. Slide away. Run away from the when. Hide away, again. The window’s shut; no one can hear. I feel so far yet feel so near. All alone in disconcern. Pushed aside by disconcern. My mind’s astray beyond repair. I’ll dance away with silent stare. All alone in disconcern. Pushed aside by disconcern.

Nothing’s warm anymore, and we’ve forgotten how life can pay. Instead we’ll just stand around, fists clenched tight, but that’s okay. What else is there to say? Won’t wake up and that’s okay. I don’t wish for anything; the tide paves a way. Greetings push me behind, I’m drowning in lies but that’s okay. Left gaunt and weightless; I’m gliding through decay. I’ll hide away to die inside, just like the norm, and that’s okay. Dreams perish just like before. I’m losing sight of anything I should know.
3.
Blackened skies mar the sun, Show concludes but no one’s won. Ignore it all again to stay in the game. Brighter lights lead to the grave, Endurance left for the brave. Everything changes the same. Left behind directionless, Struggle through this human mess. Ignore it all again to stay in the game, Silhouettes stand out of reach, Blood drains out, another leech. Everything changes the same.
